Sometimes I want to tell you things

1.) blue inside my bones, like letters left by ants that crawled the window sill -- sugar seekers

2.) I had a wand inside. It looked through walls. It listened to the pulse and gush. I wasn't afraid anymore.

3.) my fondness for strings is likely connected to a real life affinity for entanglement. my fondness for scissors likely related to my desire to withdraw.

4.) the mailbox is a neverer.

5.) things that live at night are the things I like most

Apiary,

spread legs wide a glass jar for
the mouth of moths, all blue in folds of pink their wings the vein singing

cloth loss loosened from comb
the why for glass words mined in yellow always heart, always tender

lilac glimmer scrolled in breath
green stems along feather throatsquartz fetus in beating red light

where glimmer twins blinking unzipped
their black bones like plume rivers mending pistils under pollen, calyxed glass

new snaps from my new eye

My new camera is loads of fun, but I'm still adjusting to the ways it's different from a regular slr camera. The flash is a little cold, and focusing is still tricky since I haven't really figured out how to override the digital zoom. But I'm planning all sorts of photo series: weird toys, the insides of boxes and books, synthetic fibers and textures. I'm also busy working on my piece for 4SQR. I don't want to give Jessica something that I've already posted on flickr. I want to give her something totally new.

Kurt and I finished our piece about DAPHNOMANCY for Kitchen Sink. I'm so glad that more than 3 people will know about our project. Totally rad.
